Professional
Karolyn has worked for twenty-five years as a therapist, twenty of those years in the south Metro area. She works with a multitude of concerns, accepting almost all insurance vendors, as an in-network provider.
Treatments
Her specialty areas include marital therapy, recovery from depression, anxiety, sexual trauma, eating disorders, and body image issues. She has advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing).
Faith
Integration of faith in therapy and Christian counseling are areas of strength for Karolyn. She also uses her experience to mentor and supervise new therapists in the field.
Support and Compassion
Karolyn is a strength-based therapist who considers the depth of resources available to solve issues. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support, skills and tools to help clients make strides toward thriving. She integrates warmth, humor, and complementary methodologies and approaches. She tailors her practice to the needs of each client. With compassion and understanding she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the goals they seek.
